I like to go in pharmacy waiting lines behind elderly people, drop a five or ten or twenty if I can by their side then pat them on the arm and tell them it fell from their coat, pocketbook, whatever. Living on fixed incomes for them is so hard. I know, my grandmother had to.
It is too easy to dismiss good people or good people who commit acts of kindness because of their appearance, their education level, amount of money they make or lack of interest in social scenes. Everyone is capable of goodness, even the one's that don't "look" like it. I like the reasoning behind this project. Hello, I work in the corporate industry Monday through Friday and a tattoo parlor on the weekends. I loved college, loved my mother who died from Lupus and M.S., loved my grandparents who tried to be there for me always, love Star Trek, love the color black and love animals. I hate having migraines, depression and anxiety. I hate being afraid I am going to be diagnosed with M.S. too. I get lost all the time but my iPhone gets me back on the right track. I don't care about labels because they are just simple, empty words that cannot tell the story of a person.
