Educators, pilot the very first No Evil Project curricular activity!

The No Evil Project is a nonprofit organization that uses art and humor to challenge stereotypes and help people find commonality and understanding despite cultural, socio-economic, religious, racial, gender, physical and mental health, occupational, political, and ethnic among other differences. For photography events, participants pose as the Three Wise Monkeys: See No Evil, Hear No Evil, and Speak No Evil; pick three labels that describe themselves; and write a good deed to show they’re “not evil” and aren't defined by their labels.

We are working to add curriculum activities that incorporate social-emotional learning to be utilized in schools seeking to promote and/or maintain positive climate and culture as well as social change. The resources and activities will include themes of identity exploration, empathy, and anti-bullying that teachers can bring back to their schools and classrooms, and will encourage new conversations with both colleagues and students.

This workshop will take participants through the introductory lesson and activity, which includes photos, discussion and reflection. Participation is free.

The Worcester PopUp is a creative co-working space of the Worcester Cultural Coalition in partnership with The Barr Foundation. This event is not sponsored by, nor does it necessarily reflect the views of the Worcester Cultural Coalition.
