Ali got her first camera - a purple point-and-shoot - in the first grade when she sold the most Sally Foster gift wrap in the school. There was always something intriguing to Ali about capturing a memory, a story, a feeling.
In high school, Ali met her true love, the Nikon D100, while serving as the high school yearbook editor for two years. This made her feel powerful as she took on the important task of documenting the stimulating lives of her classmates.
In college, she toyed around with Canon Rebels - which are silly - as well as video. She would never forget to white balance. However, she much preferred producing and directing to cinematography.
Today, she mainly takes selfies and cat photos with her iPhone XR.
She prides herself on never losing a lens cap.
