Tell Us Your Good Deed

I make sure to ask everyone how they are and show that I am listening by following up and checking in about the things they share with me. Showing people they really matter goes a long way to lifting spirits, instilling optimism, and creating communities. I do this good deed everyday with everyone.

Why are you participating?

I work with high school students who struggle with issues of identity confusion, sexual orientation, gender confusion, popularity, mental illness, the list goes on. The most common thing I hear from these students is fear of loneliness and isolation. I think this project can go a long way towards helping people of all ages feel that they are not alone and that they too matter in the lives of others.
