I volunteer with my church's Philoptochos chapter which helps those less fortunate locally, nationally, and globally, and which also provided for me when I became an orphan at age 11.
My daughter wanted me to participate with her.

A lot of people come to me for advice and help with different things, and I try and guide and assist them as best I can. My family sometimes jokes that I should start charging, but if it's something I can easily do, I feel why not? Shouldn't we all?
I think it's a pretty cool project and dispelling the myths surrounding labels is probably one of the most important things we can do as a society.

I go to a bereavement support group. After 11 years, I really don't need counseling, I go to help support new members in their time of need. I volunteer at the library and senior center.
