I helped to provide outdoor recreation opportunities for millions of people.
I believe in the following closing prayer from my church: Know how much a tired and hurting world needs your strength and gladness.

I guess I try to do small 'good deeds' all the time. I feel that the little things always count. Something as small as holding a door for someone or smiling at them can make their day. One time when I hadn't thought much of it I was at Walmart in a small town in Vermont and there was a person behind me who only had one of those Campbell handshake soups and a drink and I let them go ahead of me. Little did I know they were late for class less than a block a way and they were quite appreciative.
As for my labels of choice I feel that those are reasons people may talk about me. I currently work for a non-profit organization where I am able to use all of these labels in my work. I am a peer support worker/peer outreach counselor.

Some good deeds are little things you do without even thinking about it; taking my elderly neighbors donations to Boomerangs or helping my nephew with his homework. Last year I decided to actually put some effort into doing a good deed and joined CCFA's Team Challenge

My most memorable good deed goes back to when I was in high school. I found a wallet full of money and credit cards on the street. I walked to the address stated on the license, and returned the wallet. Good deeds make your heart feel full. I continue to perform good deeds not only to make myself feel warm and fuzzy, but more importantly, to make the other person feel warm and fuzzy. Put positive energy into the universe. That's what it is all about...

I donate my hand-knit projects to charity.
I participate because it forces me to focus on the positive, which I often forget to do. If you need a moment to smile, read through the good deeds here. Each one is a unique gem in a sparkly tiara.

I work with non-profits to help them with their websites and internet marketing to create something professional that fits their budgets even if that budget is zero. I'm always looking for ways to help more groups do what they enjoy and believe in.
Well, I created the project so it only seemed fair that I was the first guinea pig. =^)
