Tell Us Your Good Deed

If I find something that someone -even a stranger- wears or does is cool, outstanding, or nifty I complement them on it. They tend to appreciate the positive attention.

Why are you participating?

Because I appreciate the message this project is pushing for. *thumbs up*

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I took some time to connect with my Mom's elder neighbor at the grocery store, he has always impressed me the few times I have seen him as he seems to really care about taking care of himself and his yard/home. Connecting with other and nature, I find is Heaven on Earth!

Why are you participating?

Happiness and peace prevail over evil any day! A pleasure to make this statement for all to see!

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I was a part of a volunteer group that put on live shows for elderly homes, police stations, and fire stations. We would perform musical numbers, dances, scenes, instrumental pieces etc. We would do a theme for each show and would do special ones around the holiday seasons. It was truly rewarding to brighten up someone's day, especially when some would never be visited and rarely saw a new friendly face.

Why are you participating?

I was approached about this project at a craft fair and really liked what it was all about. I'm happy to be a part of anything that celebrates and embraces all of our unique differences.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I volunteer teach Yoga to children and adults who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience this form of mindfulness.

Why are you participating?

I believe that everyone is intrinsically good and that these qualities are not always visible at first impression. I love how this project shows another level of everyone that could be easily overlooked because of our own judgments.
