Tell Us Your Good Deed

I once bought a homeless man in Las Vegas a meal, talked with him while he ate it, and gave him ten bucks as I left.

Why are you participating?

With so much focus in the media on negativity, I'm happy to see a project that focuses on the positive.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I volunteered this past summer as a camp counselor at the Circle of Tapawingo. The program is a free one-week overnight camp for bereaved girls between the ages of eight and 16. The campers arrive sharing the common bond of loss and they leave with feelings similar to these expressed by a camper in a thank-you note to her counselors:
"My father died four years ago. He always used to give me presents and I miss that. I wish I could tell him that the best present I've received since he died was my week at Circle of Tapawingo."

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I try to be kind because we are all struggling in some way. I am beginning to practice Yoga and in doing so will project positive energy to those around me. I volunteer for Earth Day cleanups in my city. I use the least toxic products so I can do my part to keep this world clean and safe.

Why are you participating?

If we could all be more open minded and kind to each other, it could change our country and our world.
