Volunteer 6 years for helping the mental health of students in my community and university at Puerto Rico. Helped the people affected by hurricane Maria. Worked on beach cleanups all over the island. Working right now for Seven Hills Foundation.
I believe we have to stop discriminating because of our labels.
I try to focus on the positive qualities I see in other people/situations, even when I feel stressed. Sometimes it is easy to focus on conflict we have with others, but I work to try and see the best in others- and to remind myself of that even in difficult situations.

A lot of people come to me for advice and help with different things, and I try and guide and assist them as best I can. My family sometimes jokes that I should start charging, but if it's something I can easily do, I feel why not? Shouldn't we all?
I think it's a pretty cool project and dispelling the myths surrounding labels is probably one of the most important things we can do as a society.

This year I spent my Christmas day as a face-painter as part of an event for underprivileged kids and their families.
I think it's great for people to feel encouraged to engage in acts that will benefit us despite our labels and across identities.
