I don't eat animals or anything that comes from them, which is one small way of reducing suffering in the world. Being vegan is one of the most happy-making things I've done in my life.

I try to be an understanding and caring person, for my friends and people around me. Also I try to give the best of me understanding others points of view.
I think the most important is to learn respect and appreciation of others; not because of a religion, race, sex or any specific criteria; but because of simple coexistence. For me it derives from common sense.

I'm an International Development and Social Change major. I really hope to use it in some beneficial way, to help people and reduce the great amount of suffering in the world. I'm particularly interested in health, especially sexual health. I am a sexual educator on my college campus. I am also extremely interested in studying the relationship between economic development, health, and the environment. I want to devote my life to something good, and am working hard to achieve that.
I think one of the most essential ways to improve our society is to encourage others to embrace egalitarianism - or the belief that everyone is equal in fundamental worth, no matter what labels society gives them.
