Being involved in the Vagina Monologues is a great cause to be a part of. It also feels good to be a voice and raise awareness for those who cannot. Also the other day I let a man and his daughter go ahead of me in the checkout line at the grocery store because they had a smaller order than I did.
I believe in paying it forward and always trying to do the right thing. I also strongly believe in a separating of church and state. Politics and religion are not black and white. Instead they are beautiful shades of gray.

One good deed that I have done is I pick up garbage whenever I see it outside and I hold onto it until I can place it in a garbage. I also dig recyclables out of the trash and recycle them.
I think this is a very clever and creative organization. It gets the word out about doing good unto others, it promotes peace, and it encourages all people to be nonjudgmental. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for this opportunity! :)
I volunteer with children who live in a low-income housing development by helping them with their homework. They always manage to put a smile on my face for the rest of the day and inspire me to always be hopeful.

I spent a week in Haiti in the summer of 2011 to assist with rebuilding efforts in the wake of the 2010 earthquake.
I'm participating because we all are unique and have been given gifts and qualties from God, all of which can be used for good. Our uniqueness and differences are to be celebrated and this project certainly helps do that!

I spent a month in Nashville working with children from poverty-stricken areas in a summer school. I did everything from washing tables to dancing in drama class to helping 1st graders with reading.
I donated money that I received for my birthday to the organization called Operation Smile to provide surgeries to children who have been born with a cleft lip or palate. This organization changes the lives of children forever by allowing them to be able to "eat, speak, socialize or smile" which would not have been made possible without this operation.
To spread the idea that no one is evil, everyone is good and has done good deeds in their own way, and no one deserves to be judged by others based on the labels given to them, no matter if by others or by themselves.
