I take pride in serving good food as a cook.
Even though we are all different, by their labels we are all the same and humans.

Cub Scout Leader - teaching honor, respect and integrity to inner city kids. Instilling an appreciation for patriotism, our flag and what it stands for to young boys. Urging them to honor our veterans, and never be afraid to say thank you to them for their service.
Culinary and nutrition volunteer - teaching kids and their families about food, nutrition and good eating.
TRY EVERYTHING TWICE, BECAUSE CHANCES ARE THAT FIRST PERSON WHO MADE IT SCREWED IT UP!
Take an elderly person out to eat - what you learn from them far outweighs the cost of lunch.
I am part of the majority - Caucasian, middle class, Christian and stereotyped. I am conservative by nature and offended at those who take advantage of the systems. I respect the office of the president regardless of who that person is, or what political rhetoric they sow.

I've tried to "adopt" one of the older homeless gentlemen in my neighborhood, "Roy". I try to bring him a hot meal daily or make sure he's got blankets or even just sit with him on the corner and talk for a while. He has been on the street for 40 years but he stays positive. He has ended up having more of an impact on me than I could ever have hoped to have on him.

I saved my girlfriend's life and stand proudly by her side despite the struggles she put us through due to addiction. Now each month she saves her own with Vivitrol. She is a shining star, the comet that lights my way home every night.
Every life is worth saving, and every life is worth living, even in its bleakest moments. No matter how hopeless the cause, or case, or place, let your love shine on.
Because everyone deserves a second chance... or a third.

I have and will continue to help clothe and house the homeless.
I feel it is a good cause
I don’t judge.
Troy is a cool dude and I like seeing all the people through his looking glass. I think the project is a very interesting look at labels and our uses of them. Like a lot of things, my philosophy is fairly complicated.
