I am disabled now I have had MS since I was 20. I walk with a wheeled walker. I am happy to still be walking, talking and have life, a daughter, & friends & family that love me at every stage of my journey.

When people hear the terms "widow" or "disabled" they think "Oh, what a shame." I've never considered either status a reason to be pitied. These are things that have happened to me but do not define who I am.
