Our society has become so polarizing. Everyone is afraid to talk about our differences because we are conditioned to believe that they are what defines us. In truth, when we begin to talk honestly about our perspective, we often see that our similarities are greater than our differences.

I like to leave my friends small notes for them to find later on their whiteboard, on a post-it, or wherever. They usually say something like, "Happy Friday" or "I love you," nothing elaborate. It's just a simple way to remind people that I care about them.
