I put my friends and family above my material items. If I can make life easier by buying someone lunch or loaning them money, I will do it without hesitation. An example would be when I used the last of my extra money last winter to buy my mother an electric blanket, since she didn't have heating in her apartment.
To give my own experiences as an example so other will be able to see that, if my labels fit them, that they are not alone.
