I work for the North Shore Community Development Coalition as the Community Engagement Manager and I am leading the new ways of engaging the community by making wellness call to all Salem residents to make sure that in this difficult time they are aware of the pool of resources that Salem as a whole is providing. In addition, I have been following up with residents who need assistance completing the Unemployment application and finding ways to support local businesses in the Point Neighborhood.

Last Christmas, I had the opportunity to assist my church in securing Christmas donations for the children's ministry. The budget for the 2018 year was very limited, but we did not want finances to stop the children from having an unforgettable Christmas season. I began to reach out to different offices and after weeks of reaching out to different organizations, we were able to secure donations from two different offices. It may seem insignificant, but as a child, you remember those moments of joy and I wanted it to be another Christmas season that the children would not forget.
