At school I have been being nice, like every time I go to lunch, the lunch people I use my manner. I ask some things and they smile every single day.

I pay attention to the little stories that people tell about themselves and that often do not get heard or acknowledged by others. In my experience that is a form of validation some people really yearn for.

Why are you participating?

I have lived long enough to see many of the presumptions, stereotypes, and predispositions of the world I was born into change in a way that provides for more opportunity and inclusion for people who were otherwise denied.

While time apart from each other has been important during this pandemic, Covid-19 has made the moments *with* each other more important as well. With that in mind I've been keeping my schedule a little more open: working with what time others have to help them when they really need it.
