Tell Us Your Good Deed

I've worked and volunteered for multiple social service agencies committed to social justice, empowerment, and improving the quality of life for marginalized peoples. I am also a grad student who is studying to one day operate a social service agency like those I have worked for.

Why are you participating?

I am participating because I understand the damaging affects of labeling one another has on our community. These labels are devised in order to separate us and keep us from reaching social equity.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I'm a mom, and I love hanging out with my little guy. We do a lot of family activities, playtime, cuddle time, reading, and learning new things. I'm committed to giving him a wide range of experiences with an emphasis on multicultural and social justice issues.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I work on the trauma unit at a hospital and I help people every single day.

Why are you participating?

My Grandma participated in this project and she always talks about how awesome it is. I think it is great as it shows that everyone is capable of doing good, whether it is something small or something big.
