I run 5K races and walk to raise awareness and funds for area non-profits. I am currently a volunteer member of a town committee, and also volunteer for Interfaith Hospitality Network.

In college I found a wallet with a lot of cash in it, I returned it to its rightful owner. I volunteered with horizons for homeless children, playing with kids while their parents attended programs to get back on their feet.
Why are you participating?
I try to believe in the good in humanity, though sometimes it isn't easy. I think this project does a great job putting faces to that goodness, and breaking apart preconceived notions of stereotypes. We could all use to be less judgmental, as well as to be judged less.
