Tell Us Your Good Deed

Every year, my barbershop chorus puts on a show to benefit the Westborough food pantry. I also provide peer support in my community at a mental health organization.

Why are you participating?

Because it's time to stop putting human beings in boxes, and support each other despite our differences!

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I became a drag mother a bit over a year ago. Since then I’ve acquired 3 drag daughters and it’s one of the proudest things I’ve done. I’m Helping them learn the tricks of the trade, and discovering who they are. Being a cosmetologist I had the know how I could share. I now have a drag daughter who was crowned the very first MX. Gay worcester. I was blessed with amazing foster parents and I had learned what it was like to have love and support come from unexpected places. Being able to pass that on to others is very gratifying. No one should ever feel unexcepted or unloved.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I put my friends and family above my material items. If I can make life easier by buying someone lunch or loaning them money, I will do it without hesitation. An example would be when I used the last of my extra money last winter to buy my mother an electric blanket, since she didn't have heating in her apartment.

Why are you participating?

To give my own experiences as an example so other will be able to see that, if my labels fit them, that they are not alone.
