Why are you participating?

I was homeless when I was 18 and even through many setbacks and assumptions of who I was or able to do I've climbed the ladder of life to becoming more than stable in life.

I volunteer to help other parents in my community to understand special education, disability awareness, and give resources for parent support, inclusion and activities for children with autism and/or mental health needs.

Why are you participating?

I am fat. The world gives everyone messages about how bad fat is. Well I'm not bad, lazy, uneducated, or lacking self control. I hope people can see a person, with a heart, dreams, family, and rights. My body is beautiful and I'm happy to be me!
