When I was younger, I was around 7 or 8 I was walking home from school. I saw a baby running into the street so before it went into the road, I quickly grabbed and returned it to its mother.
Transgender Stereotypes Redefined
I tell all of my friends and random people at my school that they're amazing and valid when they come out to me. Just making the LGBTQ+ kids happy.

I work for the North Shore Community Development Coalition as the Community Engagement Manager and I am leading the new ways of engaging the community by making wellness call to all Salem residents to make sure that in this difficult time they are aware of the pool of resources that Salem as a whole is providing. In addition, I have been following up with residents who need assistance completing the Unemployment application and finding ways to support local businesses in the Point Neighborhood.

I've dedicated my adult life to advocacy and activism on a municipal and state level. Schools, libraries, and art councils contribute so much to our shared society and I simply want to do my part in contributing back to them in the best way that I know how—through my time and my energy. I do these things because I wish to live a life in which I can say that I've genuinely tried to make my community a stronger and more inclusive place for people like me.
I'm participating because I firmly believe that labels are so incredibly important to who we are as individuals. They can be useful tools that help to give us a sense of community and purpose when we feel lost or isolated.
