I have volunteered for St. Vincent Hospital for 2 summers. I have helped clean the hospital, talk to patients and made their day, and helped departments so the hospital could function. It was an amazing opportunity to help others and create a friendly environment in the hospital.

I recently picked up 33 trash bags full of litter in our neighborhood in an effort to make our world more beautiful.

Why are you participating?

I'm proud to support equality, anti-bullying, and arts. This project seems to be a perfect combo of those! I think we definitely need more awareness and discussion around this subject.

I am fighting back against a culture of hyper-individualism. The world will not be okay if everyone adopts a narrow view of what constitutes their own self-interest. We are not independent. We are interdependent - and becoming more so with every passing year.
