Tell Us Your Good Deed

I volunteer at the Hanover Theatre, I'm a member of the family health center board of directors, an anchor at the WCCTV13 local channel and I volunteer at a local restaurant called Sol Of Mexico. I guess my point is volunteer and do good things to change our world.

Why are you participating?

We are living a different life in this generation, we have to accept people with open mind, sexuality, race, religion and with different point of view. Love yourself cuz nobody knows who u really are! Don't hide yourself from yourself!!!

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I am a member of the Outreach Committee at my church where I volunteer for various organizations. In addition, I have organized, and pay for, different clubs (craft club, movie/book club, and game club) after school for those who aren't necessarily involved in sports or music.

Why are you participating?

As a teacher, I see how labels effect the students I work with. Frankly, I'm just sick of it!!!

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I created the POP (Power of Pink) Nia Tour 2011 to benefit the PINK Revolution, a Central Mass breast cancer charity that funds research & support for local breast cancer patients. I will be bringing women together to dance (Nia) at 4 locations this October (breast cancer awareness month) in celebration for our feminine energy & power.

Why are you participating?

I love the idea of turning labels into a positive thing, and seeing people with labels differently. I love charity. The faces make it more personal.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

While studying abroad I was fortunate enough to teach children a shanty-town, the children who needed it the most. It was amazing to teach these children with the minimal resources that we had, and seeing how appreciative they were. They are the children who need to be given the building blocks to make the most out of their future, and I was able to help teach these children. It was the greatest deed that I have been able to do to this date.

Why are you participating?

Labels are not worth having, it makes people feel trapped in a box when everyone should be given the courage to break out of the mold and bend the lines to be whatever it is that they want to be.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

Being good to the people I meet. Being a good student and putting what I learn to use.

Why are you participating?

I believe we are inherently good people. We just get washed up, beat down, shoved around. We forget who we really are. We forget what we have to offer.
