I started a group called Firchburg SAGA (Sexuality and Gender Alliance) which is a support group for the LGBTQI+ community. I also created "blessing bags" for those in need which have toiletries, and I pass them out every other Sunday at a breakfast for people in need.
Because I want for show the world it's ok to be fat, progressive, and have an anxiety disorder. My shirt speaks for myself as I am bisexual so I didn't feel that label was as important as the other ones.
I volunteered once in boston, where I made lunch bags and handed them out to the homeless.

I accompany homeless and at risk adults in Worcester as Executive Director and Pastor of Worcester Fellowship. I try to work my program and pass along the message, not the mess.
What unites us is WAY more important that what divides us.
He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?

All my animal companions are rescues, mostly from shelters. We also try to adopt older animals because not just puppies deserve love.
Growing up, no knew what to call me. I didn't fit anywhere. So, acceptance is more important to me than what labels I identify as.

Right now I'm working with a deep canvassing campaign to talk with people about their views on abortion. I'm such an introvert so sometimes it's hard to knock on a stranger's door and ask about such a sensitive topic, but the conversations I've had are incredible and people are really appreciative of the chance to be heard. Through this work we hope to open a broader cultural conversation and encourage people to re-examine their own stigmas and assumptions.
This project is so encouraging and is a wonderful reminder that each person has something to offer. Good deeds don't have to be huge and awe-inspiring! Everyday acts of kindness really make a difference.

I make people laugh when they are down. It helps me when I'm also feeling down.
I help my summer campers develop confidence in their abilities and teach them that they can do amazing things no matter how the world sees them.
I am participating because it's important to recognize just how complex people are and that we cannot be defined or judged by a few words or our appearance.
