Planning and holding food drives outside supermarkets, and asking shoppers to buy one thing off of a list of top 10 most needed items.
I'm proud of myself and all the various labels I fit into, they don't describe me, but they are parts of me and shouldn't be shrouded in shame. I hope that someday labels will not be something that define people but help them expand themselves.

I have a masters in nonprofit business and when I was hired the company used my education to help twenty people that were not being treated and considering how much they were getting paid to have a miserable life. They hurt me and my brother that night and the officer was reprimanded and they did it again. Some people have no luck. I was in distress but I picked him up and put him in the back of the truck with me and our landlord. We got there in five minutes, any more and he would have died.

Constantly Trying to find new ways to help develop & improve my Community around me because all it takes is one person to notice and want to do the same, so I might NOT get everybody's attention but as long as I know that I got someone's attention is what Matters.
Because I BELIEVE this is AN Amazing way to Bring Awareness to Everyone AROUND US. THAT We're In This World Together & although we ALL May have different sizes, shapes, & colors WE Are ALL the SAME No Matter If Our Situations, Circumstances or Backgrounds aren't the SAME.

I pulled out my reading glasses and gave them to a gentleman who was struggling to read his papers. He was grinning when I told him that he could keep them.
As a mental health advocate and abuse survivor, I see the derogatory effects of labels every day. By replacing negativity with positive self-talk and compassion, I am convinced we as a society can become the best versions of ourselves.

I have been an animal advocate and still belong to the "no kill shelter" (as a contributor) "The Animal Umbrella". The volunteers feed, trap, provide medical help and find new homes for the abandoned cats. They rely on donations, sometimes the money is not there and the volunteers have to pay out of their own pockets to feed the cats.
In many institutions, there are a lot of cats that have been thrown out of people's cars and regularly the animal control comes in and the cats are euthanized. There are millions of cats like that - we save one cat at a time but at the end, many, many, cats have been saved.

I track down owners of items accidentally delivered to my home.
I think its important for people to know your identity belongs to you and is fluid. I keep a set of the See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil totems on my mantle.
