It is so easy to dismiss someone because of an observed or perceived identity. Reading different labels and consciously connecting them to the phrase 'not evil' breaks down so much of what's wrong with today. This project helped me see some of my own biases.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I have been given so much through others and I pay it forward in serving others where they are. Whether foster parenting, mentoring parents, assisting with monetary assistance, hugging and loving up on others, transportation, and in any other way I can use my energy to heal others.

Why are you participating?

I would like for folks to see Indigenous and Borinkens in our true light! We are all light beings and are intentional about our time in this world. Love is everything.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I have been an animal advocate and still belong to the "no kill shelter" (as a contributor) "The Animal Umbrella". The volunteers feed, trap, provide medical help and find new homes for the abandoned cats. They rely on donations, sometimes the money is not there and the volunteers have to pay out of their own pockets to feed the cats.

In many institutions, there are a lot of cats that have been thrown out of people's cars and regularly the animal control comes in and the cats are euthanized. There are millions of cats like that - we save one cat at a time but at the end, many, many, cats have been saved.
