Rescuing animals in need. I've adopted and donated to charities. Rescuing plants - I don't like seeing plants going to the garbage just because they stopped blooming. Planting my gardens so wild life can enjoy t! Plant some for me and some for them too.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I have been an animal advocate and still belong to the "no kill shelter" (as a contributor) "The Animal Umbrella". The volunteers feed, trap, provide medical help and find new homes for the abandoned cats. They rely on donations, sometimes the money is not there and the volunteers have to pay out of their own pockets to feed the cats.

In many institutions, there are a lot of cats that have been thrown out of people's cars and regularly the animal control comes in and the cats are euthanized. There are millions of cats like that - we save one cat at a time but at the end, many, many, cats have been saved.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

As a living statue performer, the foundation of my art is the hope that I might bring a little light and joy into someone's day. I connect with people by simply being present, making eye contact, listening, and using the element of the unexpected to create an opportunity for them to let their guard down.

Why are you participating?

My friend and colleague participated (photographed as Lily, our primary living statue character) at stART on the Street, and I've been following the project ever since.
