Saved a young man from taking a bottle of pills to commit suicide. Brought him to a local ER and stayed with him until he was admitted. Have heard from him a few times over the years. He's glad to be alive and grateful.

I have lived long enough to see many of the presumptions, stereotypes, and predispositions of the world I was born into change in a way that provides for more opportunity and inclusion for people who were otherwise denied.
