I promote local artists. I am a potter and am eager to promote using handmade items in our everyday lives, from hand thrown coffee mugs, to blown glasses. It's not about my art, it's about using anyone's art in our daily routines. Let's move away from the disconnect we sometimes feel and close this gap by including handmade articles in our rituals and routines. Let's all recognize how truly connected we are to one another.
I am participating because I'm a 51 year old, self-employed potter, who loves art, the outdoors, and adventure. I am very busy with my production work and i frequently am running events back to back.

Trying to involve students in cultural awareness of the world.
This project will help the Nichols Community see its uniqueness as an exhibit in the new student center. I want to be part of the welcome we give to all visitors by being included in the exhibit and celebrating the arts at Nichols.
