I always go out of my way to make things easier for those around me. Whether it's taking on part of a project that is overwhelming a committee member or working for a coworker who wants the day off.

I'm participating in a year of service next year after I graduate college and I am excited to breakdown the stigma of mental illness in our society and show the world that we do not need to be defined by the psychiatric disorders that label us :)

I always donate to the veterans collecting money outside of shopping centers.

I laid down with the boy I babysat so that he could fall asleep without being afraid of monsters.

I volunteer at the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center during vacations.
