I spent 13 years in Girl Scouts so I've always been a volunteer and I've had my share of experiences, but my most recent would be the InterVarsity ServeUp trip in New Orleans, LA. A group of students went down there for a week to volunteer in rebuilding the community and hearing stories of those affected by Hurricane Katrina. I feel as though those people helped me more.

I am on my churches counsel.
I have been on multiple mission trips to the country of Haiti. Through passing out food and working in medical clinics, I have helped others and learned about what's important in my life.
