I always volunteer at my local library to assist. It’s not something but they need help so I don't mind.

Why are you participating?

Because I was in what I call my natural state and I just wanted to be captured in that form. It’s also cool.

My favorite activity was being a mentor for a high school aged girl interested in STEM. It was a program that not only showed the students the importance of minority women in STEM, it reinforced my decision to stay in STEM even when times were hard. It was an amazing program and we got to show the students our college campuses, talk to them about their lives and give them advice for the college process.

Why are you participating?

I want to be able to help to broadcast the importance of love and equal rights for all races by standing against racism even through this platform.
