Tell Us Your Good Deed

I love to inspire people to do good even if they're feeling bad. "No ones problems are any more OR less important than our own." Reach out to a friend or family member that you haven't spoken to in a while just to see how they're doing! I often find that I feel much better after doing so.

Why are you participating?

I've always been fascinated by wondering what people are really like. By thinking about what they may do on a day to day basis, and what their struggles or talents may be. This project is truly inspiring!

I'm like a dog on a bone when it comes to getting young people to reach their full potential through education. Young men who have seen the inside of prison life have a particularly hard time finding opportunities for work. For me it's about getting them back into school and looking toward their future rather than looking back. It's about empowering them to make positive changes for themselves and their families.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I came across a broken down car on 190 and a man walking with his dog. I stopped and offered them a ride. He asked to go to the next exit and commented he did not have a cell phone. I loaned him my phone so he could call family for help. He offered me money, I said no, when it was safe to help someone else out, do so. He promised he would, we both won!

I always make sure everyone feels accepted.

Why are you participating?

I am participating because people automatically make judgments about myself and others, whether positive or negative, before truly getting to know each other first. What is on the inside is what truly counts, not labels that others give us. We all have a story that may surprise most.

I always find at least one thing I like about a stranger and let them know. Could be a cute pair of earrings, great shoes or that they made me laugh. Every one loves a compliment and some times it is the best part of your day!

Why are you participating?

Because we are all deeper than a 1st impression!
