I donate books to the hospital floors that my daughter has been on for other families to have to fill the many hours they spend with their sick children, and for older kids who are hospitalized.
My child has been the victim of bullying because of the disabilities that she has. As a former teacher and a mother, I want her to live in a world that is more tolerant and less judge-mental.
I have donated money to an animal shelter.
