Tell Us Your Good Deed

Over the years I've spoken at several schools/ youth groups about the facts and safety of tattoos and the industry. I've worked hard to be where I am and I'm proud to be in a position to give back to my community.

Why are you participating?

Why not? :)
I am more than a tattoo artist, but there have been so many misconceptions about me over the years that I can easily stand behind this project. You don't know me until you know me!

We adopt rescued animals. Everyone deserves a good chance in a loving home.

Why are you participating?

We all have an idea of how we look. We all have an idea of who we are and how we are seen by others. For me that idea often makes me insecure, but can make me confident in ways too. It's important to identify who you are, and be confident about it.

I make art for people! In a time of sadness, joy, or just so they know someone is thinking of them, I love to make person specific pieces and send them to people. It always puts a smile on their face!

Why are you participating?

Labels have affected me my entire life. I was never a 'cool kid' and people thought I was strange and unusual. Then I had my son, Colin, when I was in high school and was further stereotyped and judged.

Ma Chapter Tears Foundation committee member

Why are you participating?

I refuse to label myself or perpetuate the labels others have tried to attach to me in order to define me. i choose which labels I let stick. No one can define me or lump me into a group unless I allow it. I've been called many things....some true and some untrue.

Infantry Veteran Driver that led his team and group of trucks with a mine-roller for months in Helmand Province, Afghanistan without hitting an IED.

Why are you participating?

I really like what the organization is about. I get labeled a lot from anything from being racist because I'm bald, or mean because of the way I look. I can totally understand how stigmas have a negative effect.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

For years I taught kids who couldn't afford private lessons how to read, understand and make music. Through this I also have people in difficult situations a reason to get up in the morning and feel productive and positive. I share my love of music with as many people as I can.
