As someone with a "scary" mental illness, I am frequently seen as a "monster", and I would love to be seen as human again.
I help my friends clean their rooms when they're depressed.
I am playful and encourage students, especially those who are far away from home.
I often pick up other people's trash on my daily walks in the woods. (I also remind others not to idle their cars while waiting for their kids in front of schools... a risky social interaction sometimes!)
