After the earthquake in Haiti, my friends and I put on a concert to raise funds to send to Doctors Without Borders and The Red Cross. We gave free merchandise to those who supported these efforts. Although I only had $50 in my bank account to last me for 2 weeks, I happily sent all of the money we raised from our show to the two organizations we had chosen so they could help with relief efforts.
I'm tired of people making erroneous assumptions about others based on stereotypes.

I use my experience and struggles with anxiety disorder to fight against mental health stigma. It is really important that people going through these things do not feel alone - so I reach out on Anxiety forums to support, offer hope and guidance and advocate for good self-care.

The world needs to be a kinder gentler place. Maybe this project will get people thinking in a more positive way about the way they treat themselves and each other.
I've used my website, podcasts and my status in the retrocentric community to combat online bullying and trolling.
I was bullied for being different, and some of the hurt lasts to this day. I want to make sure that nobody else is ever treated the say way again.
