Tell Us Your Good Deed

When i was in school my mom would make me lunch every day for school. I hated carrying lunch to school i wanted to be like the cool kids who would buy luch at school. One day i met this boy who was a street kid and i just wanted to take him home and make him my little brother, i was too young to undersand that i couldnt. I wish i could have done more for him. I started carrying my lunch to school and i would see him every morning and give him my lunch box and collect it everyday after school. I did that for five years in high school.

Why are you participating?

I wish we didnt have labels but at the same time labels are what defines us. I have been called many things because of my sexuality. People expect gay people to 'come out', i dont see why we have to come out while straight people can just date. Why are we nay different?

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I volunteer multiple times a year for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at various events all over the state

Why are you participating?

I was made fun of my entire life for one thing or another, from my height to "not being girly." No one should be made fun of for any reason. We are all unique individuals and that's what makes ALL OF US incredible.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I'm the center holder for Naked Yoga Alliance - a free resource network that supports the mind / body healing practice of naked yoga. All bodies are beautiful.

Why are you participating?

I work with conscious nudity and sacred sexuality in my profession on a daily basis. These are parts of ourself and our culture that have been horribly demonized. Bodies are beautiful. So is the sacredness of our sexuality.
