A couple times a year I volunteer to make and serve dinner for the Dismiss Farm. It's sorta like a halfway house. Full of nice people who want to change their lives. I also saved a dog that almost got hit by a car.
Here is a collection of 6133 people who have participated in the project so far. Explore and see the variety of people doing good deeds in their communities. You can also see all the labels, groups of people, photographers, and a world map of where everyone is from!

To this day, I've been donating to a organization called "The Leelah Project". This foundation helps transgender individuals receive items that would help in their transition to their desired gender. I've been trying to help out as much as possible, as I am a LGBT individual myself. :)
I want to show that labels aren't what define you. You should just be yourself. As long as you're happy, nothing else matters.
I make friends with everyone at my school - and stand up for them if they are being bullied. Everyone deserves to feel safe and feel they have a friend who has their back.
Because Troy asked me and I think it is a very cool idea. Thank you.
I welcome everyone into my home with love, respect and joy. Once you walk in my door - you are family.

Participatory artistic events are few and far between. All High schoolers should try while one is available.

I try to be as accepting as I can be to the people around me, even if they have hurt me in the past.
In high school labels mean everything, showing off who you are shouldn't be a big deal and people shouldn't have to worry about being judged for their labels.

I volunteer to teach art and music to children at a summer camp.
Seemed like a great opportunity.

I have donated a lot of my time throughout my High School career to National Art Honor Society. It's really important to me to spread happiness through art.
I'm participating because not everyone is who they look like. It's fun to tell people things about you that result in them saying, "I never expected that!"
