Tamisha Thompson began her career teaching math in 1998. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and Master’s degree in mathematics education from Rutgers University, her Master’s degree in organizational management from Endicott College, and National Board certification. In addition to teaching mathematics, she has served in a wide variety of educational roles, from consulting for educational non-profit organizations and facilitating workshops for teachers, to coaching and supporting teachers within individual schools, to writing and developing curricula for school districts across the state of Massachusetts.
Tamisha’s passion for learning, her understanding of education as a civil right, and her experience as a woman of color in the educational system motivate her to show how much education of one another, understanding one another, can help people love one another.
