Tell Us Your Good Deed

Whenever I have left overs at a restaurant I ask for a take away bag and give away the food to the first homeless person I see.

Why are you participating?

Because I think we need to judge less and empathize more.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

On vacation while shopping, I comforted a stranger/ a young lady who had just heard of her friend's passing. She was about to wipe her tears with a leaf when I handed her a pack of tissues and hugged her.

Why are you participating?

Because I think it is a fun idea and maybe with my story I can inspire someone.

My family nick name for me is Saint Bernard- I have had many people stay with me when they had no where to go. I host weekly dinners for friends - took care of my elderly aunt that had no kids of her own for the last 20 years of her life and most recently the stars introduced me to Gigi and now she has a forever home with my partner Richard and I - we fought the system and won - she’s in a forever home and is loved - working on getting more kids into our home too

Why are you participating?

Why not - everyone has a story - I grew up in Europe and ended back in Massachusetts- my parents are still in France and all my siblings are in the States - we were raised to help others and make a difference - he’s one more forum to do that

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I do my best to be out and proud and try my best to be hyper-aware of my actions and how they affect the people around me. Before transitioning I identified as a queer female and was quite invisible in society. I had to raise my voice to be heard and I had to fight to make sure that my accomplishments were not overlooked by my male counterparts. Now I identify as a white male and society sees me that way. Now I am seen, I am heard. But I remember how it felt to be invisible and remind myself everyday of the women and minorities who are still invisible in this white-male dominated world.

Why are you participating?

I participate because this project is a great concept and has the potential to spread good messages to people. I like to participate every year because I'm constantly evolving/changing and want to reflect that.
