Why are you participating?

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I adopted my dog Princess from someone who did not want her anymore and in turn, she has rescued me. I cannot see my life without her and I always advise people to adopt/rescue pets first :)

Why are you participating?

I am participating because when people see me, they may judge me negatively by my tattoos or ethnicity- but I do not think that I am defined by those things. I am proud to be who i am and I am a very nice person who tries to help others.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I worked for 3 years at a nonprofit organization that helps families, children and individuals with mental health needs.
I am also an activist for social rights, eradicating stigma, and promoting change.

Why are you participating?

Because while labels can be useful for categorizing, they are also damaging and come with sets of prejudices that need to be challenged.. and because the pictures of me aren't the greatest, I want to try accepting them as they are anyway.

Tell Us Your Good Deed

I volunteered in the child care ministry at my church as a teen and as an adult. I love working with children.

Why are you participating?

People often judge others by the way they look. We are each on our own journey through life. No one knows my path but me. Let's love more and judge less.
